Bella Vista is an incredible community with plenty of amenities, including: swimming pools, six 18-hole golf courses, a nine-hole golf course, seven lakes with fishing and boat docks, a marina, a swimming beach, multiple parks, clubhouses with workout areas, hiking/biking trails, and so much more. Initially established in 1917 as a summer resort destination, Bella Vista eventually became a retirement community in 1965. In 2006, however, Bella Vista became an incorporated city with a Property Owners Association (POA) that maintains many amenities available to homeowners and their guests.
